Who is Pauline Vanthournout
The love for art & architecture is in the DNA of the Vanthournout family and the passion for interior design continues to flow through her veins. She is a spontaneous, colorful, energetic person full of crazy and innovative ideas. She defines a home as the reflection of the client’s personality. By analyzing their wishes, she creates the projects whilst adding her own little twist. She is not afraid to use color, nor different materials. Her creations stand out and she always tries to look at things with a refreshing view, a different perspective! An innovative and contemporary style! Pauline studied interior architecture at the Henry Van De Velde Institute in Antwerp and after her studies, she ended up in Paris where she soon started working at Chanel as a project architect. During this period, Pauline’s main occupation was drawing shops, pop-up stores and scenographies for traveling exhibitions. In 2017, after 9 years of permanent employment at Chanel Image department in Paris, Pauline decided to make a professional switch and she opened her own office in Belgium: PVIA Interior. Despite her return to Belgium, Chanel still remains one of her biggest customers. Pauline Vanthournout is one large bundle of energy. A creative vessel where strength in design, creativity and reflection prevail.
